Traffic Alert: Power Lines Down On Braddock Road
The Fairfax County police have closed Wakefield Chapel Road in both directions due to downed power lines.
ANNANDALE, VA — Downed power lines have snarled traffic at a busy intersection just west of the Beltway (I-495), say Fairfax County police. Wakefield Chapel Road is closed in both directions due to a traffic accident that brought down power lines at the intersection with Braddock Road.
The police said Braddock Road has been narrowed to one lane at Wakefield Chapel Road. Threy advise motorists to stay alert and follow detours.
