2 Arrested After More Than 70 Arlington Cars Shot With BB Guns
Police investigate as damage reports continue to come in.
More than 70 cars were damaged when two young men drove around Arlington shooting out windows with BB guns over the weekend.
The Washington Post reports two men were arrested with pistol-style BB guns and a handgun following the shooting spree early Sunday.
Arrested were 19-year-old Antonio Lopez and 20-year-old Christopher Albrant. They have been charged with multiple misdemeanors and one felony count of property destruction, the paper reported.
A resident of the 1800 block of North Lexington Street called police at 4:30 a.m. Sunday to report shooting noises, according to the Post, and police found a silver Chevy sedan nearby with the two men inside along with two pistol-style BB guns, BBs and a .40-caliber handgun.
