2 Indecent Exposure Cases Reported In Arlington: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police responded recently to reports of two indecent exposure incidents, one in the Shirlington area and the other near Waverly Hills, according to the daily crime report.

In the most recent case, police were dispatched around 7:07 p.m., on Tuesday for the report of an exposure on South Four Mile Run Drive at South Nelson Street. A preliminary investigation revealed the female victim was walking in the area when she saw a man exposing his genitals and masturbating.

Police described the suspect as a white man, about 30 to 40 years old, with an average to stocky build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a red baseball cap with white print, a gray T-shirt, black vest, red cargo shorts, black socks, and black sneakers. This case remains under investigation.

In the earlier case, police responded around 2:05 p.m, on Monday, for the report of an exposure on 16th Street North at North Glebe Road. The reporting party told police they saw a man masturbating in the area. Police located an individual matching the description of the suspect, but the man said he did not expose himself. Since the officers were unable to contact the person who reported the incident and there were no other witnesses, they released the man from their custody.
