How about sponsoring one of the post game player meals! Resurrected during the 2015 season, the post game meals, whether homemade, or purchased at or donated by one of the local eating establishments, were a hit after each of the Aces home games at Frank Mann Field. Utilizing the picnic benches at the ballpark, the ballplayers and interns were able to unwind after each game.

There are three ways to sponsor a meal. First, is for a local family to either purchase or prepare a home cooked meal and deliver it to the ballpark sometime around the 8th inning. The second method is for a family or business to sponsor a meal for $250. The Aces game day staff will then make or confirm arrangements with a local dining establishment and will pick up the meal that evening and bring it to the ballpark. Finally, a local dining establishment can donate a meal. The Aces staff will gladly pick up the meal and bring to Frank Mann Field. In all cases, the Aces staff will ensure the meal is set up just prior to the conclusion of the game.

For planning purposes, figure on feeding approximately 45 individuals. The Aces Concession Stand frequently provided drinks (waters, soda, Gatorade) and occasionally added in bags of chips. Last year’s meals ran the gamut from BBQ, pizza and cheesesteaks to chicken sandwiches, burritos and shrimp!
