6 Artists Named Finalists To Paint Crystal City Metro Plaza Mural
National Landing Business Improvement District released its list of finalists who will submit designs for a mural at the Crystal City Metro.
ARLINGTON, VA — Six visual artists have been chosen as finalists to paint a new mural at the Crystal City Metro Plaza, according to a release from the National Landing Business Improvement District (BID).
The BID put a call out in May for individual artists or teams of artists to submit their credentials by June 1 so judges could determine if they had the experience and the chops to tackle the project.
On Tuesday, the BID released its shortlist, which contained these six finalists:

The next step is for each of the six finalists to submit a mural concept. The winner will be announced in September, with the completion of the project expected later in the fall.
