ARLINGTON, VA — The Arlington Cemetery Metro Station will be closed for three months next year to allow for a full platform replacement and station renovation, according to a post on the Washington Area Metro Transit Authority's website.

The station refurbishment is part of Metro's Platform Improvement Project, which so far has finished full platform replacements on 10 stations, four on the Orange Line and six on the Blue and Yellow lines.

Construction is currently underway at the Reagan National Airport Station, leaving nine stations to be finished in 2021 and 2022.
