Arlington County's Second Ever Confirmed Coyote Hit by Car

The coyote was hit by a car near Arlington National Cemetery on Route 110 around 9:30 a.m. Friday, ARLnow reports.

Arlington County’s second ever confirmed coyote was reportedly struck by a car on Route 110 near Arlington National Cemetery Friday morning, ARLnow reports.

An animal control officer working for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington brought the coyote to AWLA where it had to be euthanized.

Arlington’s first confirmed coyote sighting occurred in April 2012 when a wildlife camera spotted the creature in Potomac Overlook Regional Park, according to ARLnow.
