Arlington Firefighters Pose With Bryce Harper
Arlington firefighters snapped a photo with the former National after his Phillies were eliminated from the playoffs in a loss in D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC — The Washington Nationals dashed the playoff hopes of the Philadelphia Phillies here in D.C. Tuesday night, and Arlington firefighters spotted the man who left the Nats for Philly during the offseason just hanging around.
Bryce Harper appeared in good spirits as he posed with a couple members of the Arlington County Fire Department.
"In Arlington, you'll never know who you will run into on the street," the department said in a Wednesday morning tweet. "Firefighters from A-shift handled a stuck elevator call and happened to recognize
@bryceharper3, who happily posed for a pic. Bryce- Sorry about the loss, but thanks for being a good sport!!"

During the offseason, Harper signed a blockbuster 13-year, $330 million deal with the Phillies, long rumored to be the front runner for the free agent all-star outfielder.
The signing ended Harper's seven-year career with the Washington Nationals, during which he hit 184 home runs and won the National League Most Valuable Player award in 2015.
