Arlington Police Officer Hit During Incident At Rosslyn Hotel
An Arlington police officer responding to a dispute at a Rosslyn hotel was struck by one of the individuals involved in the argument.

ROSSLYN, VA — Arlington County Police made an arrest early Sunday morning, charging a Woodbridge resident with assaulting a law enforcement officer at a Rosslyn hotel, according to the daily crime report.
Around 2:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a hotel in the 1600 block of N. Oak Street for the report of a dispute. Hotel management had summoned police to stand by while they removed individuals from a room for violating hotel policies. While the two occupants began to collect their things, an argument broke out between them. The dispute moved outside the room and escalated. At this point, the officers separated the two individuals. One threw an unknown object into an elevator and rushed toward and officer, striking the officer with a closed fist.
Nyillah Yansaneh, 24, of Woodbridge, was charged with assault and battery on law enforcement and being drunk in public.
