Arlington Restaurant Inspections: 2 Violations At 1 Location

Here are the latest restaurant health inspections filed across the Arlington area.

ARLINGTON, VA — Officials from Arlington County Public Health inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Arlington County. Between Nov. 29-Dec. 7, officials inspected 10 businesses, of which one restaurant was in violation.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, some of the inspections were conducted virtually, and, therefore, the violations cited may not be an exhaustive list of possible violations at particular establishments. In addition, inspectors visited many of the 10 restaurants to ensure that they were in compliance with Gov. Ralph Northam's Phase 3 guidelines.

Violations noted below — such as the two at Perfect Pita in Arlington — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.
