Arlington Restaurant Inspections: 32 Violations At 6 Locations

ARLINGTON, VA — Officials from Arlington County Public Health inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Arlington County. Between June 17-21, officials inspected 26 businesses, of which six restaurants were in violation.

Violations noted below — such as the 12 at Samuel Beckett's Irish Gastro Pub — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
