One More Page Books To Reopen Doors On June 15
One More Page Books, a popular Northern Virginia bookstore, survived the pandemic and plans to reopen for indoor shopping on June 15.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington's One More Page Books is reopening the inside of its store on Tuesday, June 15, 15 months after closing its sales floor to customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The independent bookstore reopened for appointment-only shopping on June 3 as part of its phased reopening plan. When it reopens on June 15, masks will be required and the number of shoppers in the store at one time will be limited to seven until more people, including young children, are able to be vaccinated.
One More Page Books was able to stay in business during the pandemic through website sales, according to store owner Eileen McGervey.

"We are thankful to have weathered the pandemic with a healthy staff and a strong customer base," McGervey said in a statement Monday. “After shifting the way we did business several times during the last year, we were so happy when we were able to turn the store back into a welcoming place for book, wine and chocolate lovers.”
In March 2020, One More Page shifted operations to focus on online sales and delivery. The store, which celebrated its 10-year anniversary in January, offered home delivery through the holiday season as well as curbside pick-up and international shipping options over the past 15 months.

Since the start of the pandemic, the bookstore also has held events online with authors and has a full schedule of activities coming up in June. Each of these events is free and streams on both YouTube and Facebook. No plans have been made for in-person events yet.
One More Page Books is located at 2200 North Westmoreland Street in Arlington, just off Lee Highway near the border with Falls Church.
