AuPairCare au pair making an IMPACT!
Anna Paula, from Brazil, is making a difference in Arlington!
While AuPairCare au pair, Anna Paula, may be a temporary resident of Arlington, she is making quite a impact in our community! Anna Paula’s host parents are fantastic, dedicated parents and busy professionals; having an au pair makes it easier for them to “do it all!”
Anna Paula is a hard-working young woman and super volunteer! As an AuPairCare au pair, she works up to 45 hours per week providing child care support to her host family. Dedicated, responsible and always positive, she cares for the ever-changing needs of a busy family effortlessly. Her host mom, noted, “Anna is fully a member of our family. She's involved in the boys care but also a big part of their lives. She often has dinner with us and is a frequent attendee at the boys sporting and school events. She develops a rapport with the boys teachers and frequently helps me with events at their school. Last month she joined me to help with the lunch for Thanksgiving at our school, which was great!”
Above and beyond her work, Anna Paula volunteers at her church office four days a week while her host children are at school. Derek Adye of Grace Community Church remarked “Anna is an incredible person with a huge heart for serving others. Anna is currently volunteering in our missions department. She recently helped to coordinate a meal packing event where we packaged 202,000 meals for children around the world. If I had to describe Anna, I would say that she is one of the most joyful and giving people I have ever met. She has made a huge mark on our church and our community in the short time that she has been in the USA.”

Having seemingly endless energy, Anna Paula recently organized a coat drive for children. She encouraged AuPairCare host families and au pairs to donate used coats and other winter gear. She collected and washed the items before donating them to Randolph Elementary School.
Anna Paula also volunteers to welcome new au pairs. In an effort to offer each au pair their best experience, she reaches out to introduce new au pairs to Arlington. Her bright, positive personality shines through at monthly AuPairCare events - her smile and energy is contagious!

Anna gives selflessly of herself to her host family, to her church, and to our AuPairCare cluster of au pairs. Arlington is lucky to have Anna Paula Ribeiro Maia as part of our community!
