Blast Of Winter Air, Possible Snow Coming To Arlington
There is "increasing confidence" of bitterly cold air swooping in next week, and a chance of snow.

ARLINGTON, VA -- You're really going to feel the bite of winter next week in Arlington. The National Weather Service says there is "increasing confidence" that freezing cold will descend on us from up north next week, and with it comes the possibility of snow.
NWS predicts "significant, bitterly cold air" in the Northern Plains, Midwest, and Great Lakes most likely will arrive by the middle of next week, and it should last for several days with wind chills well below zero.
While those areas will be most affected, we are likely to experience freezing temps as well.

The current forecast calls for rain in the D.C. area around Tuesday just as the cold air is arriving, so it could morph into snow, notes the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang.
"Worth watching," they tweeted.
