Blood Found In Woodstock Park In North Arlington: Police

Arlington County police officers were investigating a report of blood found Monday at Woodstock Park near the Lee Heights shopping center.

Just after 8 a.m. Monday, Arlington County police were dispatched in response to the report of blood in Woodstock Park in North Arlington. At this time, no victims or crime have been determined, the police department said Monday morning.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police Department officers were investigating a report of blood found at Woodstock Park Monday morning near the Lee Heights shopping center in North Arlington.

Just after 8 a.m, Arlington police were dispatched in response to the report of blood in the park. Police then taped off the park. At this time, no victims or crime have been determined, the police department said Monday morning.

As of 10 a.m., Arlington police were still on the scene investigating and will canvas the Waverly Hills neighborhood for additional information related to the incident, the department said.

Police also taped off a portion of N. Woodstock St. in front of a house across from the park in the 2000 block of the street.
