Bullet Fired Into Window Of South Arlington Home: Police Report

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a recent incident in which a bullet was fired into a Long Branch Creek area home, according to the daily crime report.

Officers were dispatched around 6:30 p.m., on Sunday, for a destruction of property report in the 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. The victim told the officers that he was inside his residence when he heard something strike his bedroom window. When he looked to investigate the noise, he discovered a bullet hole in the window.

The officers examined the window and saw what appeared to be a bullet fragment stuck between two windows panes. The case remains under investigation.
