Huge New Tower In Crystal City Takes Big Step Forward
The gleaming 24-story apartment building would be built on top of Buffalo Wild Wings and other restaurants on 23rd Street.

ARLINGTON, VA — The 24-story residential tower planned for construction on Jefferson Davis Highway in Crystal City has taken a massive step forward, with Arlington County staff recommending the project for approval recently.
The Arlington County Board will vote July 15 on the project, which would involve constructing a 270-foot-tall building at 2351 Jefferson Davis Highway -- at Crystal Drive and 23rd Street S. -- that would have 302 apartments and 330,000 square feet of floor space, along with 242 parking spaces for residents. There would be an additional shared garage with about 100 spaces for retail customers.
The building would be built on top of existing restaurants, such as Buffalo Wild Wings and California Tortilla.
