Kusshi And Sake Bar Coming Late Summer To National Landing
Kusshi and Sake Bar is slated to open later this summer, bringing authentic Japanese cuisine and a large sake selection to Westpost.

ARLINGTON, VA — North Bethesda's Kusshi Sushi will be opening a new location late this summer at Westpost in Arlington, according to a release.
Specializing in authentic Japanese cuisine, Kusshi and Sake Bar derives its name from the Kusshi oyster, which is one of the rare delicacies it will offer at its 3,776-square-foot restaurant. Diners will also be able to choose from the largest selection of Sake in the Washington, D.C. area.
“We chose Westpost for our second Kusshi Sushi because the neighborhood shares our desire to deliver quality products and services,” said Wesley Yao, general manager of Kusshi Sushi Pike & Rose, which is located in North Bethesda, Maryland. “Westpost features many fine retailers, restaurants and services, and we look forward to being a part of the neighborhood.”

The National Landing development, which was formerly known as Pentagon Row, is already home to Bun’d Up, Wild Tiger, Origin Coffee, Lucky Danger, and Mattie & Eddie’s. Nighthawk Pizza is slated to open this fall in Westpost.
“We are excited to bring a crowd favorite from Pike & Rose in North Bethesda to the bustling Westpost neighborhood,” said Dan Corwin of Federal Realty Investment Trust, which owns Westpost. “We have provided this Arlington community diverse cuisines over the years and we are thrilled to present a new sushi destination for the National Landing district.”
