ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County has accepted a development project that would involve construction of a new apartment building in Crystal City on S. Eads Street.

The project, which has been accepted pending final filing, would involve the construction of a five-story residential building comprised of 252 units and open space "on an existing paved and landscape, and surface parking area" at 1900 S. Eads Street, according to the proposal description posted by the county.

The building would be called "Crystal House III" and would be adjacent to the 12-story Crystal House apartment buildings at the corner of S. Eads Street and 18th Street, according to an ARLnow.com report.
