Man Gets Angry At Leasing Office, Tries To Fight Cops: ACPD
A man had to be tasered after he became irates while arguing with staff at an Arlington apartment building, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA — Police accused a man of attacking two officers who responded to an argument at an Arlington apartment building's leasing office over the weekend.
Police were called to the 1200 block of S. Eads Street at around 10:16 a.m. on Oct. 5 to a report of a trespasser inside a residential building, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"[T]he suspect became irate after engaging in a verbal dispute with staff," the report states. "The suspect then left the leasing office, but remained in the building, where he was located by police. Arriving officers made contact with the suspect, who continued to act disorderly, disobeyed lawful commands and attempted to strike two officers with closed fists."

Police then struggled with the man, and officers deployed their tasers before finally taking him into custody, the report states.
Police charged 33-year-old Amro Ali of Arlington with two counts of assault and battery on police. He is being held without bond.
