Man Arrested In Arlington Shooting: Police
Police have made an arrest after a shooting in Arlington Wednesday night.

ARLINGTON, VA — Police have made an arrest after someone was shot in Arlington on Wednesday night.
Police were called to the 6000 block of Wilson Boulevard at around 11:15 p.m. to a report of a shooting, where the found an adult male who had to be taken to a local hospital, Arlington County Police tweeted.
The man was in stable condition, police said.

Police arrested 21-year-old Jhonatan Zavaleta Cruz on charges of aggravated malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and shooting during the commission of a felony, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department. He is being held without bond.
The victim is a juvenile male. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

"The preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect and victim are known to one another and that a verbal dispute preceded the shooting," the report states. "There is no indication of an ongoing threat to the community."
