Mimi's Handmade Ice Cream Coming To Westpost At National Landing
Arlingtonians looking for some new dessert flavors will have their desires slaked later this summer with the arrival of a new ice cream shop

ARLINGTON, VA — Mimi’s Handmade Ice Cream is coming later this summer to Westpost at National Landing, formerly Pentagon Row, in Arlington. The store will offer ice cream, sorbet, and other frozen treats, at its 935-square-foot space located at 1201 S. Joyce St.
“I have been cooking and creating deserts since I was 7-years-old and I am excited to make this hobby my job,” said Rollin Amore, in a release. “Americans love ice cream, and I plan to have dozens of unique ice cream flavors for our patrons. I look forward to opening Mimi’s in the growing National Landing neighborhood.”
Amore turned to creating handmade ice cream, following a 35-year career in finance. When he returned home from traveling, he would recreate the local cuisines and flavors he'd experienced on his trips for his daughters, Mimi and Alexandra, especially with desserts.
