DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE (Significant), 2021-07050031, Arlington Boulevard at N. George Mason Drive. At approximately 2:07 a.m. on July 5, police were dispatched to the area of Arlington Boulevard at N. Fillmore Street for the report of a person with a gun. The reporting party advised dispatch that she was being chased and shot at by another vehicle. Responding officers observed the two vehicles and initiated a pursuit. The pursuit concluded at Arlington Boulevard and N. George Mason Dr. with officers making contact with the occupants of both vehicles. The investigation determined that the reporting party allegedly committed a Hit and Run in Washington D.C. and the driver of the other vehicle followed her into Arlington attempting to contact her and exchange information. No weapons were involved and no shots were fired. As a result of the investigation, the reporting party, Tasia Montiel, 25, of Fort Washington, MD, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, Refusal of Breath/Blood Test, Obstruction of Justice and Misuse of 911. She was held on an unsecured bond.

ABDUCTION, 2021-07030221, 2400 block of 26th Road S. At approximately 11:27 p.m. on July 3, police were dispatched to the report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim and known male suspect became involved in a verbal dispute inside the suspect’s vehicle. When the victim exited, a physical altercation ensued during which the suspect allegedly attempted to force the victim into his vehicle. The victim ran to a witness in a nearby vehicle who drove her away from the suspect. Arriving officers made contact with the suspect and during the course of the investigation, determined he was under the influence. Riaz Noory, 30, of Manassas, VA, was arrested and charged with Abduction, Driving Under the Influence, Obstruction of Justice and Refusal of Breath/Blood Test. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 2021-07040066, 900 block of N. Taylor Street. At approximately 7:13 a.m. on July 4, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. Upon arrival, it was determined that a security officer observed the front glass door to the business shattered. Arriving officers conducted a search of the business and surrounding area with negative results. The investigation revealed that at approximately 3:13 a.m., three unknown suspects forced entry into the business and stole a cash register containing an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. There are no suspect descriptions. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2021-07010132, 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 3:09 p.m. on July 1, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect was inside a business when he sat down and allegedly exposed his genitals to an employee. The employee asked the suspect to leave, and arriving officers located him in the area. As a result of the investigation, a warrant for Indecent Exposure was obtained for the suspect.
