Nonprofit Provides Free Rides to the Polls on Election Day

Arlington, VA — FareRyder, a sustainable energy transportation company, is addressing voter access issues by providing free rides to polls and ballot boxes on November 3, 2020. FareRyder is a black-owned start up company, focused on turning ridesharing into an environmentally friendly, zero emission sector. In an effort to get the word out about their unique service, they have teamed up with Arlington-based nonprofit, Hearts of Empowerment, which is an organization that helps entities gain awareness and traction for their services. Together, the team has launched a local Vote America initiative, focused on mobilizing voters who are equipped to vote but may lack the resources to have their vote counted
