Ovechkin, Caps Celebrate Nats World Series At Arlington Bar
Ovechkin and other Capitals were caught on video jumping for joy after the Nationals' World Series win.

ARLINGTON, VA — Alexander Ovechkin and several other members of the Washington Capitals were caught on video jumping and pouring champagne on each other in celebration at a Clarendon bar after the Nationals' dramatic Game 7 World Series win.
Ovechkin has long been a big supporter of the Nats, telling reporters during their playoff run that "we're D.C. family." The Nats have supported the Caps in the past as well, with Max Scherzer and Ryan Zimmerman leading fans in a "Let's Go Caps" cheer at a playoff game during their championship run last year.
In the video -- taken at The G.O.A.T. in Clarendon, according to ARLnow.com -- Ovechkin can be seen jumping for joy with Nicklas Backstrom and another unidentified Caps as Tom Wilson and John Carlson spray champagne.

The Mystics won the WNBA championship this year, and Ovechkin gave his support throughout their run. His mother was a basketball player for the Soviet national team that won two gold medals.
Unfortunately, the Caps had a road trip during the World Series and weren't able to be at any of the games in person -- a fact that disappointed Ovi.

"I just told Kuzy it sucks we're not going to get to go to the game," he told reporters. "But we're going to watch it on the TV for sure. ... We're going to give our energy to the team and to the boys and hope we're going to do it."
