ARLINGTON, VA — Patch asked and readers answered: what are your favorite businesses in the District? We put out a call for nominations for local businesses of the year. So far, six restaurants have risen to the top of your list.

"This is a diner, a critical food serving establishment particularly during a COVID pandemic. They re-opened in July as soon as it was feasible to be able to operate at any facsimile of what they normally do which didn't happen and still has not happened yet they put their employees back to work and have helped to provide much needed, safe, wholesome food that they are clearly noted for since that July date.
