Pet Of The Week: Adorable Dazy Wants To Be Your Goofball Dog

ARLINGTON, VA — Does the Animal Welfare League of Arlington have a pet for you. Dazy, who's a female mixed-breed dog, is described as a "goofball," because she's "always on the go-go-go and will happily barrel into you in her special Dazy greeting."

Here's what else AWLA wants you to know about Dazy:

"One of our favorite things about her is the little happy dance she does when we walk into her kennel — it's just adorable! Once she's all tuckered out, she'll roll over for belly rubs and settle in for a nap. ... As one of our animal care techs said, 'Dazy is the besssssst, we love her so much.'"

“Our new star is Dazy," another volunteer said. "She is a total wiggle-butt, non-stop in her enthusiasm. If you ever feel down or tired and need a picker-upper, just spend time with Daz. … She will make you forget all your troubles and tribulations."

Pet of the Week highlights animals available for adoption from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. The Arlington County Animal Shelter at 2650 S.
