Rosslyn Jazz Festival Returns In September
The 29th annual festival returns to Arlington's Gateway Park Sept. 7 with a lineup including Grammy-nominated artists.
ROSSLYN, VA — The 2019 Rosslyn Jazz Fest will return to Arlington’s Gateway Park next month, bringing with it a lineup of Grammy-winning and nominated music artists. The 29th annual festival is scheduled Sept. 7 from 1-7 p.m.
This year’s lineup of musicians will bring sounds from the Gulf Coast that evoke jazz, blues, soul, funk and Caribbean genres. The event will be headlined by the Houston-based band The Suffers, Grammy-nominated New Orleans brass band Cha Wa, singer and cellist Leyla McCalla (formerly of the Grammy award-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops, and D.C.’s go-go/jazz ensemble JoGo Project.
Attendees can experience the music alongside local food trucks, a pop-up beer and wine garden, and the latest interactive installation aboard the Arlington Art Truck.

The Rosslyn Jazz Fest is organized by the Rosslyn Business Improvement District and Arlington Arts. Set times for each artist will be announced at a later date.
