Shots Fired Early Sunday In Green Valley Area: Police Report
Arlington County detectives are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning in the Green Valley neighborhood.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating an early morning shooting that took place Sunday in the Green Valley neighborhood, according to a police release.
Officers responded around 2:17 a.m., for the report of shots being fired in the 3500 block of 23rd Street S. Following a preliminary investigation, police found evidence that multiple shots had been fired in the vicinity of the parking lot and field adjacent to the Drew Community Center. They also determined that a large group of people who had gathered in the area before the incident had fled the scene following the shooting. Police reported no injuries or damage to property.
