Snow Not Ruled Out This Weekend In Arlington
While things are still trending toward rain, the window remains open for snow in our area -- as well as some on Thursday.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Right now, you can expect rain this weekend. But there still remains a decent probability for some snow.
While there are "plenty of signs" the weekend storm will be mostly rain, there are indications it could be cold enough -- particularly west and north of D.C. -- for a snow or ice storm, according to a forecast from the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang.
The reason why things are so uncertain has to do with temperatures, which are going to be all over the place, starting in the 30s before rising into possibly the 50s and then nose-diving into freezing territory by Monday morning -- possibly the teens or single-digits. The track of the storm will affect when we'll see those temperatures, and if the sudden drop in temps will coincide with the precipitation.

Meanwhile, at least some snow should fall on Thursday -- perhaps as much as a couple inches, but mostly likely just a dusting to an inch. Points north could get a little more.
Be warned: this may just be an appetizer for what's to come in the next few weeks, or even months.
