Streets To Close May 7 For Pacers 5K Friday At National Landing

Arlington County Police will be closing streets and restricting parking in the National Landing area on Friday, May 7 for a 5K race.

ARLINGTON, VA — Roads around National Landing will be closed for most of the evening rush hour on Friday, May 7, for the Pacers 5K Friday running event, according to a release.

Arlington County Police will be closing the following roadways from about 5:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., to allow for the event:

  • Northbound lanes of Crystal Drive between 26th St. and 12th St.
  • North and Southbound lanes of Long Bridge Drive, including 6th St. S., 10th St. S., and S. Ball Streets.

While the race is underway, the outbound lanes of Crystal Drive will remain open. Police may close other roads in the area and street parking will be restricted.

Race participants and spectators are encouraged to take the Metro to the Crystal City Station in order to reach the area and lessen the impact of vehicular traffic. Cars parked illegally will be ticketed or towed. Anyone whose vehicle is towed from a public street should call the Emergency Communications Center at 703-558-2222.
