Trump Honors War Dead At Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier
The president saluted the wreath but did not give the customary speech. He then left for a second event at Fort McHenry in Baltimore.

ARLINGTON, VA — President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Monday morning to commemorate Memorial Day.
In a ceremony that lasted about 5 minutes as reported by CBS News, Trump briefly stood before the wreath, touched it and then saluted it, but did not deliver the customary presidential address. The cemetery is closed to the public because of pandemic safety concerns, and many attendees wore masks. Trump did not.
Trump later gave a speech at the Fort McHenry National Monument in Baltimore, where he praised service and national-guard personnel helping to fight the spread of the coronavirus.
