2016 Roundup: Most Read Books in Loudoun
Here's the list of the top most checked out books at the Loudoun County Public Library branches in 2016.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — About 6 million books, e-books, audiobooks, and other library materials are checked out each year at the Loudoun County Public Library. Are you wondering what the most popular titles were during 2016?
Mirroring national trends, Loudoun readers chose Paula Hawkins’ “The Girl on the Train” most often in the adult fiction category. In adult non-fiction, neurosurgeon Paul Kalanithi’s memoir of his cancer diagnosis, “When Breath Becomes Air,” topped the list. Teens read this fall’s movie feature, “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children,” while children’s author Mo Willems was a Loudoun County favorite.
