3 DUI Crashes in Loudoun County: LCSO
3 DUI crashes occurred in Loudoun County in the overnight hours between Tuesday evening, Oct. 11 and shortly after midnight on Oct. 12.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) responded to 3 DUI crashes in the overnight hours between Tuesday evening, Oct. 11 and shortly after midnight on Oct. 12.
Deputies say that on Tuesday at 5:55 p.m. LCSO responded to the area of High St/Locust St., Round Hill, in reference to multiple calls for a vehicle unable to maintain lane control and striking a median on Route 7 and Ivandale Road and then crashing at this intersection.
The driver was identified as David M. Kelley, 38, of Round Hill. Kelley was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs (2nd in 5 years) and a Bail Violation. Kelley is being held at the
Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond, according to the LCSO.

On Tuesday at 9:04 p.m., LCSO responded to the location of Lowes Island Blvd/Rupert Island Place, Sterling, in reference to a single vehicle crash into a tree and a utility box.
On scene the driver of the vehicle fled but was later located at his residence.

The driver was identified as Arash Vafadarrad, 35, of Sterling. Vafadarrad was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on an
unsecured bond, according to the LCSO.
Ashburn, for a vehicle stopped in the traffic lane with a driver slumped over the wheel.
Loudoun Volunteer Fire and Rescue attempted to make contact with the driver however the driver drove away.
LCSO stopped the vehicle at Parlor Square and Railstop Terrace, Ashburn. The driver was identified as
Sona V. Venkat, 42, of Aldie.
Venkat was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs. She was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond, according to the LCSO.
