3 New Shops Come To Dulles Town Center In Sterling

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — After difficulties caused by the pandemic, Dulles Town Center is looking to bounce back. This week, the mall in Sterling announced three new tenants would be setting up shop.

Each of the new retailers are focused on unique apparel offerings. Handmade by LMAC will provide a space for local artisans to showcase their wares. Socks To Be You boasts an impressive collection of unique socks. Pressy, which boasts the largest of the three stores, offers embrodiery and textile printing services alongside customized apparel.

Bryan Touchstone is the general manager of Dulles Town Center. "We’re thrilled to be able to announce the addition of three more new tenants as we come out of a year that has been so difficult for the retail industry as a whole," he said in a news release. "These bright new additions to our retail lineup each bring an important element of creativity and personal expression that we know our shoppers will enjoy and embrace."

Handmade by LMAC will provide a storefront for creators and artisans who couldn't afford a space of their own. Its location, which opened in June, allows for local businesspeople to step into the spotlight.

Veronika Amaya is the owner of Handmade by LMAC. "The goal is to collectively promote talented local individuals who create amazing products to a larger audience in one highly visible, high-traffic retail space," she said. "Through Handmade by LMAC, local artists now have a retail space to showcase their work, and shoppers will now have access to unique handcrafted products from multiple local artisans in one convenient location when they visit Dulles Town Center. "

Pressy will be located next to Pink on the upper level near Center Court. The location will provide printing and embroidery services for customized apparel.

Socks To Be You is one of the more unique offerings available at the mall. This new retailer will offer an array of socks at its 2,000 square foot location.

"The retailer makes sock-wearing an art form, offering comfortable socks with popular graphic images to suit every taste," according to a news release from the mall. Socks To Be You also said they pride themselves on staying abreast of all the latest memes and trends.
