LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County, also known as "D.C.'s Wine Country" boasts more than 40 wineries and tasting rooms located along picturesque winding roads that are dotted with horse farms and historic estates. Are you interested in taking a drive to explore some of the area wineries? Here are six driving clusters recommended by the Loudoun County Visitors Center. By visiting a cluster, the visitor can see a group of nearby wineries located in one general area.
Be sure to check out the websites for the wineries that you plan to visit. Most wineries offer tastings and consultations with wine makers and staff.
Many wineries host live music performances and other special events. Some wineries have fireplaces or fire pits to sit by in colder weather.
