LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — It's almost time for the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Winter Break that begins on Dec. 22, 2016. Here are the 8 must-know dates to mark on your calendars for the remainder of the school year:

  1. December 22-January 2 Winter Break: (Classes Resume January 3)
  2. January 16: Holiday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
  3. January 27: Moveable Student Holiday * (Planning/Records/Conference Day)
  4. February 20: Holiday (Presidents’ Day)
  5. April 7: Student Holiday (Planning/Records/Conference Day)
  6. April 10-14: Holiday (Spring Break)
  7. May 29: Holiday (Memorial Day)
  8. June 9: Last Day of School

*NOTE: Parents with childcare or other weekday scheduling concerns - Date of the Moveable Planning/Records/Conference Day between first and second semesters may change if the school calendar must be changed due to school closings for inclement weather or other emergencies.
