Armed Masked Man's Attempt to Rob Starbucks Fails: LCSO
A male suspect pulled out a gun when attempting to rob a Sterling Starbucks but left empty-handed after being confronted by an employee.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — An armed suspect's attempt to rob a Sterling Starbucks failed, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
Deputies say that on Oct. 22 at 8:47 a.m. LCSO responded to the Starbucks location on Pigeon Hill Dr., Sterling for a robbery in progress call.
The male subject wore a mask when he entered the Starbucks store and brandished a firearm at the counter.

The subject left empty-handed after being confronted by an employee.
This case is pending, according to the LCSO.

A similar incident with a masked man attempting to unsuccessfully rob a Sterling 7-Eleven occurred on Oct. 23 at 1:43 a.m. The suspects have different descriptions, according to the LCSO.
