Ashburn 4th Of July Events 2020 Canceled
Ashburn's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
ASHBURN, VA — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Ashburn. Residents, on the other hand, will be holding backyard celebrations and setting off fireworks from their own private supplies.
Although certain Independence Day events in Ashburn have been canceled, they have been replaced with other events.
Ashburn Village is holding a 4th of July Parade of Cars at 10 a.m. on July 4. Participants are invited to decorate their cars to parade them through the Ashburn Village. The parade will begin and finish in the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion parking lot.

The 4th of July Party & Parade in Ashburn Village has been canceled as has the Ol’ Time 4th of July Celebration in Sterling.
The Star Spangled South Riding event on July 4 also has been canceled due to the coronavirus. "We hope to see everyone at Star Spangled in 2021!" organizers of the event in South Riding said.

Elsewhere in Loudoun, the town of Leesburg's fireworks, parade and concert have been canceled. As a replacement, the Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department is hosting “The Decoration of Independence,” a Fourth of July house decorating contest for those living within the town limits of Leesburg.
