An Ashburn man was taken into custody after reportedly threatening his wife with a knife.

ASHBURN, VA — An Ashburn man was taken into custody after reportedly threatening his wife with a knife, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).

Deputies say they responded on Oct. 18 at 4:45 p.m. to a residence located on Twitter Square in Ashburn for a domestic assault.

The victim reported she was threatened with a knife.

The scene was secured around the home and the suspect exited the home on his own.

He was taken into custody without incident.

The adult male was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault and battery against a family member, according to the LCSO.
