Ashburn Restaurant Inspections: District Pollo, Sushi King, More

LEESBURG, VA — Local health officials recently inspected food preparation and storage businesses in Loudoun County. During the last week of inspections, officials found a total of 52 violations at 23 Ashburn-area restaurants.

Violations noted below — such as the 7 at Betty's Restaurant Grill in Sterling and the 6 at District Pollo in Ashburn — involve those issues that would typically require a re-inspection if not corrected or those that are more likely than other violations to contribute to food contamination.

"In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations," according to Virginia Department of Health's website.
