Ashburn Restaurant Inspections: Mice Droppings Found In Kitchen

The Loudoun County Health Department inspected several restaurants around Ashburn, Chantilly, and Sterling, and found 19 violations.

ASHBURN, VA — Officials from the Loudoun County Health Department inspected multiple restaurants across the Ashburn, Sterling, and Chantilly area from May 17 to May 21, including seven locations that had violations.

As coronavirus related restrictions continue to loosen around the state, health inspectors are returning to conduct restaurant inspections in-person. However, some visits, such as those for training purposes, are sometimes being conducted virtually.

Violations at restaurants typically focus on factors that can contribute to food contamination. The local health department also performs a re-inspection to ensure that possible violations have been corrected.
