Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle in Sterling: LCSO

A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the area of Potomac View Road in Sterling.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle in Sterling on Tuesday, Aug. 30, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).

Deputies say that a vehicle was exiting a driveway south on to Potomac View Road at Sugarland Run Road at about 7:44 p.m.

At the same time a bicyclist was traveling against traffic northbound in the southbound lanes when the car pulled out striking the bicyclist.

Bicyclist was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to the LCSO.
