Bomb Threat in Leesburg Neighborhood: LCSO
Residents were evacuated from a Leesburg community as a precautionary measure during a bomb threat which was assessed to be unfounded.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Residents in a Leesburg neighborhood were evacuated as a precaution because of a bomb threat on Oct. 26 at 10:30 a.m., according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).
LCSO responded in reference to a backpack located outside of a residence located in the 18000 block of Harbour Town Terrace in Leesburg.
Residents near the location were evacuated as a precaution as the Loudoun County Bomb Squad assessed the
situation.

The backpack was determined to be empty.
The residents were cleared to return home, according to the LCSO.
