Broad Run Softball defeats Freedom 2-0

Katrina Potak didn't allow a single run against Freedom, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Broad Run to a 2-0 victory on Wednesday

The pitching was strong on both sides. Potak struck out nine, while Morgan Hess sat down eight.

Broad Run opened up scoring when Lauren Mizelle doubled.

Potak lasted seven innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out nine.

Hess took the loss for Freedom. She went seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out eight.

Broad Run totaled seven hits in the game. Mizelle and Casey Kramer each collected multiple hits for Broad Run. Kramer and Mizelle each collected two hits to lead Broad Run.
