Broad Run Spartans Varsity Takes Victory Over John Champe In A High-Scoring Affair

The base paths were crowded today for both offenses in a high-scoring game where Broad Run came out on top against John Champe, 9-6.

Sara Kelly was credited with the victory for Broad Run. She lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out three and walking one. Katrina Potak threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Broad Run smacked one home run on the day. Alexa Caras went for the long ball in the fifth inning.
