Broad Run Spartans Varsity Dominates Rock Ridge Thanks To Big Sixth Inning
Broad Run Varsity Softball scored seven runs in the sixth on its way to a 10-4 victory over Rock Ridge on Friday. Broad Run's big inning was driven by singles by Jackie Tenney and Abigail Neff, doubles by Casey Kramer and Erin Cassidy, and a home run by Lauren Mizelle.
Katrina Potak got the win for Broad Run. She lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out eight.
Amanda Wardlow took the loss for Rock Ridge. She surrendered ten runs on 12 hits over five and a third innings, striking out five and walking one.
