ASHBURN, VA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Linda Horn, a friend and work colleague of Chelsea Snyder and Jerome Schlafer, who are committed to giving back to the community even though they may lose their business due to the coronavirus crisis.

Reason for recognition: During the pandemic, Chelsea and Jerome continued to provide Yoga and Meditation virtually for FREE from Samskara Yoga & Healing to the community. They have continued to provide Free services in parks and online helping us with our physical and mental wellness.
One thing to know: Even though times are tough and the future of their small business is up in the air due to the pandemic, they continue to give back to the community. They volunteer with Mobile Hope getting food to the children in need. They collect food for pets in need. And Samskara Yoga & Healing is a drop-off location for the Northern Virginia Diaper Bank. I have witnessed the love Chelsea and Jerome have for their community on many occasions. I am always in awe of their never ending generosity.
Thank you for all you do, Chelsea and Jerome!
