Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Students Donate Pet Supplies

Students participated in a space-themed color run and collected pet supply items to benefit local animals in need

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Brambleton II in Ashburn recently raised more than $100 and collected more than 20 bags of pet supplies to benefit Loudoun County Animal Services. To raise funds for the organization, students participated in a space-themed color run. Over the past few weeks, students and their families also collected pet supplies, such as food, treats and toys, to benefit local animals in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping animals in need.

Loudoun County Animal Services operates an animal shelter, which provides for companion animals who have been surrendered by their owners or found stray in the county.
