Chesterbrook Academy Students Donated Gifts to Those in Need

Students held a donation drive to benefit people experiencing homelessness in Loudoun County

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Aldie recently held a toy and diaper drive to benefit Mobile Hope and a winter items drive to benefit Loudoun Homeless Services Center to give back during the holiday season. Over the past few weeks, students worked together to collect more than 25 packages of diapers, more than 25 new toys, and dozens of new and gently used winter jackets, snow pants, hats and gloves. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping others.

Mobile Hope provides support and emergency shelter to youth in Loudoun County up to age 24 who are at-risk, precariously housed or homeless and empowers them to become self-sufficient. The Loudoun Homeless Services Center is a multifaceted program that provides extensive services to prevent, support and help end homelessness within Loudoun and surrounding counties.
